The Penal Code also punishes the crime of abortion
The rape of a minor whose age ranges between 11 and 14 years faces a sentence of up to 35 years in prison, according to the Penal Code. If the boy or girl is under 10 years of age, the sentence for the rapist is life. The Penal Code also punishes the crime of abortion. The maximum sentence in this case is two years imprisonment.

Entre los delitos que serán investigados por la fiscalía, se encuentran el de violación sexual y aborto. Según el abogado penalista Mario Amoretti, dado que la niña era menor de 14 años, en el caso se configura el delito de violación sexual. “En este caso solo cuenta la edad, si es menor de 14, hablamos de violación”, apuntó Amoretti.

El Código Penal también sanciona el delito de aborto
El delito de violación sexual a un menor cuya edad fluctúe entre los 11 y 14 años tiene una pena máxima de 35 años de cárcel, deacuerdo al Código Penal. Si el niño o niña es menor de 10 años, la pena para el violador es de cadena perpetua. El Código Penal también sanciona el delito de aborto. La pena máxima en este caso es de dos años de prisión.
